Generic Viagra has had a direct effect on marriages all over the world. Couples have re-found their magic and now enjoy their relationship to the fullest, without having to worry about performance problems taking place in the bedroom. Let’s go back 20 years ago, when having erectile dysfunction (ED) often meant that your relationship was hanging by a thread, because you never know how your wife might react. Even though there were some that kindly supported their husbands; there where others that were not as understanding and eventually filed for divorce. That was how things were in marriages before generic Viagra was introduced in the market. Now, having ED doesn’t mean your relationship might be doomed. It just means it’s time to try something new.

Since it was first introduced in the market, psychologists have often said that generic Viagra is not a “miracle in a pill” and that it is necessary for couples to take the time to work their relationship issues as well. Researcher Julia Heiman conducted a series of experiments to determine the effect this drug has on a stable, committed relationship. In the end, she concluded that the effects were positive on those couples that had a loving relationship and didn’t have any deep problems that could have an influence on erectile dysfunction. However, those couples that had relationship issues other than ED often found that the medication didn’t actually help them work this issues.

In a report made by the Harvard School of Medicine, experts claimed that even though generic Viagra is great to overcome ED, it has also given men a self-esteem boost, often giving them an excuse to look for younger women, either cheating on their wives or leaving them. Of course, this means that ED wasn’t the only problem in a marriage. In cases like this, it’s important to throughly analyze your relationship and determine if ED is the only problem you have. If not, it’s best if you both seek counseling to try and work things out.

Marriages involve two people: what one person does directly affects the other. If you have ED and want to start using generic Viagra, it’s best if you tell your significant other. Suki Hanfling, director of The Institute for Sexuality & Intimacy in Massachusetts, said that most men are embarrassed to tell their wives about this drug, afraid that saying this might affect their virility in some way. However, in order to get the most out of generic Viagra and enjoy a healthy sex life you must make this decision as a couple.

Generic Viagra has caused a lot of controversy in society since the day it first started to sell. Nevertheless, it can’t be denied that it has done wonders to many marriages, often saving both men and their partners from an unhappy marriage and rather than breaking a relationship apart, generic Viagra has strengthened the bond between most married couples.
